The classic of all Alpine trails…

The Tour Du Mont Blanc crosses through France, Italy and Switzerland. Circling Europe’s highest mountain “Mount Blanc” sitting at 4808 meters, this amazing trek takes you over high mountain passes, amazing open hillside, alpine pastures, lush forest and authentic local villages.

You will stay in combination of fantastic 3 and 4 star hotels along with remote mountain refuges. Luggage transfer will be provided for all but one night and hot showers along with tasty local food will always be available.

The average day will consist of a continental breakfast followed by a 9am start of the trek. Then you will enjoy a 6 -7 hour day including a hearty packed lunch and hot drinks were available. After arriving at your accommodation around 4-5pm each day, you can freshen up and enjoy the views of the Mont Blanc massive, before enjoying a 3 course dinner and a well deserved drink.

Our guides are true experts and will provide you with a experience you simply wouldn’t get on your own, from meals in the best local restraunts to knowledge of the local environment around you.


Day one

Arive in Chamonix and settle into your hotel, our guide will then meet you and the rest of the team at 6pm for a briefing about the tour ahead. At 7pm we will take you and the team for dinner to get to know each other.

Day two

We will head up the valley to Montroc and then take the grand balcony route to Lac Blanc, a truly special day with amazing views of high mountains and glaciers.

Day three

We head over from Chamonix to le Contamines, over the Trecot Pass and into scenic alpine pastures.

Day four

Heading over the Col du Bonhomme into the beautiful Valle de Glaciers, tonight you will experience your first Mountain refuge with tasty local food and a cosy dorm style room.

Day five

Into Italy over the Seigne pass, this is truly one off the highlights of the TMB. Stuning views of the Val Veny and into Courmayeur. We will also pay a vist to the Elisebeta reguge for the best hot chocolate, coffee and cake of the tour!

Day six

A well deserved rest day in the picturesque town of Courmayeur, enjoy local cuisine and culture.  Shop in the boutique stores or spoil yourself with a trip to the hot springs and spa.

Day seven

We head out of Courmayeur and through the Val Ferret, amazing views and fantastic trails until we reach our refuge the Bonnati. Italian hospitality, good food and mabye a glass of grapa awaits.

Day eight

Into Switzerland, through into the swiss Val ferret. The lanscape changes from high mountains to alpine pastures. With quintessential Swiss scenery and villages.

Day nine

We travel to the beautiful village of Champex, and its crystal clear lake. A journey that takes us through alpine forests and a sculpture trail.

Day ten

The last full day we spend in Switzerland, the journey takes us high above the Swiss vineyards of the Rhone Alps and up to the Col de Forclaz. Enjoy some Swiss chocolate and relax for the evening.

Day eleven

Back to Chamonix over the Col de Balm and into France. This high mountain day is the perfect day to end the TMB. Fantastic views and vaired terrain will make this a great finish.

Day twelve

Enjoy breakfast and reflect on your experience, before travelling home.
