We at Mountain Yak offer a select few locations for the more adventurous trekker. With scrambling in the Polish Tatras, the Julian Alps Slovenia and the Stubai Alps in Austria.

These selected trips require a good head for hights and some experience on “Grade 1 Scrambles” , think “Cribgoch” or “Tryfan North Ridge” in Snowdonia. For Stubai part2 you will also need some winter walking exsperiance with Cramp ons and ice axe.

These trips are not climbing trips, you do not need any skills related to tecnical rock or ice climbing, simply good mountaineering basics. If you are unsure we offer free pre trip training days in the UK. (Check avalibilty on booking).
