Experience the spectacular mountain wilderness of the Annapurna Range. At 8,091m Annapurna is one of the highest mountains in the world. Its surrounding sister mountains are equally imposing, creating magnificent panoramas from any view point. From magnificent mountain vistas to ancient kingdoms trek through the vastness of the Himalayan landscape.

Throughout the trek you will come across isolated mountain communities, each observing different ancestral customs and traditions, resulting in not only a visually superb expedition but also a culturally rich one. Amist the rugged mountain scenery, you meet warm and welcoming locals herding yaks on grassy pastures, visiting their monasteries and temples. Along the way, enjoy waterfalls of melted snow, cross icy rivers, broad plains, and high mountain passes and reward yourself with a soak in natural hot springs at the end of a day.

Itinerary 

Day 1 Kathmandu
Arrive in Nepal in Kathmandu the Nepalese capital at 1300m. Once here and check in to your hotel, we will all gather for an evening meal to meet your fellow trekkers and Mountain Yak guides.

Day 2 Trek preparation and sightseeing

After settling in, you can either relax at the hotel or take a tour of the famous world heritage sites around the city. A day to relax and enjoy the energy of this amazing city. Before dinner we will have a welcome briefing with local guides and gear check to make sure everyone is prepared for our adventure.

Day 3 Besisahar

We leave the city early and begin our journey into the hills. Exploring the Nepalese countryside along the way to our first lodge of the trek.

Day 4 Bahundanda

After breakfast at the lodge, we make our way through sub tropical woods and rice terraces. Enjoying the views of waterfalls and Mt Manaslu (8156m) in the distance. Indulge in Nepalese culture as we pass the settlements arriving at our lodge for the night.

Day 5 Chamje

We enjoy breakfast at the lodge and make our way down to a breathtaking waterfall. Crossing suspension bridges over rivers we make our way back up to the lodge for the night.

Day 6 Bagarchhap

We enter the Manang district today, passing orchards, crop fields, waterfalls and prayer flags flapping in the wind. A warm welcome to Tibetan culture as we arrive at our lodge for the night.

Day 7 Chame

As we climb higher and high along our trek more mountains come into view. With a walk through the forest and a few river crossings we are greated by hot springs to soak in. Spending the night in Chame.

Day 8 Pisang

We begin our day walking up the steep trail passing through forests. Spending the night in a lodge.

Day 9 Manang

After breakfast we journey through ancient Tibetan villages and catch our first glimpse of Annapurna, to reach our lodge for the night.

Day 10 Manang

Today is an acclimatisation day to allow our bodies to adapt to the higher altitude. We will go for a short hike and the rest of th day can be used to relax and explore the village. We will spend the night in the same lodge.

Day 11 Ledar

After having breakfast we walk through alpine medows to our lodge for the night, a shorter day as I sting the acclimatisation process.

Day 12 Thorang Phedi

Aftr crossing a wooden bridge to a teashop in the morning we continue up above the tree line gaining height to find our lodge for the night.

Day 13 Muktinath

Today is the biggest day of the trek as we cross the Thorung La Pass, the highest point of the Annapurna circuit. Once reaching the top you are greated by stunning views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After celebrating our achievements we head down to our lodge for the night.

Day 14 Marpha

Passing through the bank of the holy river we head down the valley to Marpha. This is also known as the apple district so we can enjoy the apple orchids and the apple brandy factory, then spend the night in a lodge.

Day 15 Ghasa

Todays trail offers fantastic panoramic views of the Annapurna Range and the Dhaulagiri Icefall. As we then make our way along the river to the lodge for the night.

Day 16 Tatopani

On leaving the snow paved trail of the village we drop down through past the impressive waterfalls and the deep gorges at Dana. A hot spring awaits us with our lodge for the night.

Day 17 Ghorepani

After breakfast we journey through the valleys making our way out of the mountains and into village life, arriving at the lodge for the night.

Day 18 Tadapani

We begin the day early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, trekking up to Poon Hill, the most popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region. After soaking up the views we head back down and continue our trek to a lodge in Tadapani with wonderful views of Mt Fish Tail.

Day 19 Pokhara

After breakfast we trek through dense forests and walk along rivers to Nayapul, where our trek comes to an end. We then get driven to our lakeside lodge in Pokhara for the night.

Day 20 Kathmandu

We enjoy breakfast in Pokhara, then enjoy a long but restful drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival you can check into your hotel before meeting for a celebratory dinner and relaxing for the evening.

Day 21 Kathmandu

This morning we will enjoy a hot breakfast. Last minute gift shopping is available in Kathmandu. We will then, say our farewells and prepare to catch flights back to the UK.
